University Air Center maintains aircraft from single engine pistons to multi-engine jets. UAC is a fully authorized Cirrus Warranty Repair Station, an authorized Cessna Service Station, and an FAA-approved Avionics Repair Station. UAC now performs some Eclipse modifications and maintenance. For after-hours maintenance, our team of professional mechanics is on call, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
UAC's Avionics Repair Station is certified under the FAA's Part 145 regulations for aircraft maintenance. We are currently authorized dealers for Avidyne, Aspen, Avionics, Flight Display Systems, and more. We do installs and repairs. University Air Center operates an FAA approved Part 141 flight school. Flight school manager Paul Strama is available at (352) 682-5465 to take your calls. We want to teach you to fly! The Redbird Flight Simulator allows students to learn and gain FAA approved IFR time at less than half the cost of IFR time in an an aircraft. Please see the "Rentals" tab above for more info on our many aircraft available. Bank financing is available for students seeking a pilots license, and VA funding is available through the GI bill. - We offer reduced rates for Cirrus transition training in SR20 and SR22 models for only $165 per hour plus fuel. 4 Cirrus instructors are available at $30 per hour. Complete your Cirrus transition in as little as 10 hours. Contact Don at (904) 229-5606.
- UAC provides instruction in the latest G-1000 glass cockpit Cessna 172 aircraft. We are a Cessna Pilot Center and a Cirrus Standardized Training Center.
